Workers Fine With Pay Cut for Work-Life Balance

Workers Fine With Pay Cut for Work-Life Balance Less money for a better balance between work and life? According to a new survey, that was a big YES for many Americans. Prudential's latest "Pulse of the American Worker: A Third Year Begins — Life and Work in the Pandemic Era” survey found that one in five workers would be willing to take a pay cut if that meant having a more stable work/life balance. Many of these workers would take an average 10% pay cut to achieve this. The survey also found that 22% of workers have switched employers since the beginning of the pandemic and half of those are looking for a new job. Would you be willing to take a pay cut for more flexibility in your schedule? Do you think things will change once we're finally done with the pandemic?

I personally would choose to have a life! The trick would be to scale back on spending, start budgeting and get a side hustle that you love to fill the gap of loss in pay.
This way, more time with family, friends and building relationships! I believe we can all dream again when we stop being slaves to the work! Flexibility in the workplace can go a LONG way!
